Very early in life we hear our native language, and so understanding it and speaking it becomes a very natural thing. After all, our brains are programmed to decode that language and everything about it. It becomes a fantastic memory training tool. It also means that when you hear someone talking in a different language, you are unable to decode that language. This occurs because your brain was not exposed to the other language enough to understand and decode it.

Want to Discover Ways to Improve Memory?

There are tons of ways to improve memory. A lot of people have calendars that remind them of what they need to do every day. Some calendars give you a new word to learn every day. You should attempt to say that new word three times each day. If you make the effort to say the word three time every day, your memory will improve. This is one of the ways to improve memory without dishing out a bunch of money.

Suicide is defined as the act of killing oneself intentionally, and often stems from severe depression, an illness that interferes with the mental, physical and emotional well being of a person. The majority of depressed people do not actually die from suicide, but depression does trigger a higher suicidal risk.

I have created many self-help audios and one of the things that struck me was how the sound through headphones was perceived by those with a dominant left-hearing ear. Curative audios sometimes have more of an impact when certain pitches are used to carry the message to the user through earphones. I was pleased that a psychology don did some in-depth research into this, and the findings proved what I have been claiming for some time was true … that people with a dominant left hand are likely to have a dominant left ear!

Long term anxiety stress can lead to depression and a high state of anxiety which can affect our bodies. Thus, it needs to be acknowledged and treated. Medications have been used for years to help the afflicted to feel less stress, without looking at other ways in which they could have been helped, such as with dietary changes. These changes are not damaging to the body and thus can work with the body to return it to homeostasis without harmful drugs.

What Dreams Really Mean

In 1977, while sitting in a large lecture hall at the University of Illinois I had my first panic attack. I remember just sitting there in the middle of the lecture and all of a sudden this fear came on me out of no where. I did not have a thought, I was not taking a test, it was not a stressful situation. I was just listening to the lecture and I had to run out. I was in panic. I did not understand what was happening. After a week of such incidences I decided it was time to see a psychologist. That is when I started to write my dreams down and the beginning of my journey to understand who I am, how my dreams work started. I have been interpreting dreams ever since.

While each individual is unique in how they respond to the effects of stress, there are certain major stresses in life, which if all occur together, can send a healthy person into a depressive state or create the inability to cope with the simple things in life. A marriage, birth of a child, moving to another place or loss of close contact with previously connected family and friends can all bring about sudden stress symptoms. Past ways of coping, plus one’s emotional makeup will predict how one will be affected by nervous tension and strain.

What causes dreams?

If you try to find out the word DREAMS in dictionary or encyclopedia, you will probably get a description as “Dreams are images, sounds, feelings and thoughts that appear in our mind during sleep, which to most of the extent are involuntary and non-controllable in nature”. We have to admit that dreams are personal and specific to everyone and that and no one explanation can fit into everyone’s Dreams.
